There are not many researches of preschool young visitors in the museum. This research focuses on children under 5-year-old in Taipei Fine Arts Museum and tries to understand their behavior from museum education, child development and observing perspectives. The result shows that young children guide themselves in the museum, pay attention to whatever interesting for a long time, have different aspects from adult, and be able to practice different sensory motor to learn in the environment of Fine Arts Museum. Experiences of preschool children's visiting promote mental development and social interaction. Although children under 5 are limited in the Fine Arts museum, this research still try to provide some suggestions such as museum space, curriculum, and visiting time for museum educator as references.
