This thesis explores the significance of "poster-calendars" from 1896 to 1949, and the way they show erotic values. I will discuss these points in three. First, I'll analysis two ideas, the breast-liberalization and bounded-foot's liberalization, affect the female representation on "poster-calendars"? In what ways do they wear high heels and expose their wonderful figures. Secondly, I try to classify some erotic "poster-calendars" into three types: exposed erotic female, breast feeding, and athletic erotic. Then I will elaborate the meanings of exposing breast in "poster-calendars". Finally, to find out the origins and social meanings of "post-calendars". I'll compare two calendars of lying female with some western art works of Venus.
